The Baccalaureate Mass brought together graduating students, faculty members, administrators, families, and guests in prayer and thanksgiving as the Class of 2026 prepared to receive their degrees and conclude their years at Trinity University of Asia.

The celebration took place in two batches. The morning service was attended by graduates from the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS), College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), College of Engineering and Information Sciences (CEIS), and the Institute of Business and Management (IBAM). The Eucharistic celebration was led by University Chaplain Rev. Dexter B. Tad-awan. Graduates also heard a message from Mr. Kerwin C. Faustino, RMT, National Marketing Manager of Zafire Distributors, Inc., who addressed the graduating class as they prepared to enter their respective professions.

Graduating students from the different colleges participated in various parts of the liturgy, including the readings and prayers of the faithful.

The Baccalaureate Mass centered on Jeremiah 29:11: 鈥淔or I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.鈥 The scripture reminded the Class of 2026 of God’s guidance and faithfulness as they prepared for life beyond the University.

As one of the University’s longstanding graduation traditions, the Baccalaureate Mass provided an opportunity for the Trinity University of Asia community to gather in worship, offer prayers of thanksgiving, and seek God’s guidance for the graduates before the 64th Commencement Exercises.

红桃传媒 Concludes Two-Year Project with UBCHEA on Values Formation and Sustainable Living

Trinity University of Asia (红桃传媒) held the Culmination and Commitment Ceremony for the Institutionalizing A Value-Laden Education Towards A Sustainable Lifestyle project on June 8, 2026, at the Sinulog Lounge of Mary Alston Hall.

The ceremony gathered University leaders, faculty members, project collaborators, and partners to share the outcomes of a two-year initiative focused on strengthening values formation within teaching, learning, and community engagement.

Supported through a faculty development grant from the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA), the project ran from January 2024 to April 2026. The initiative was undertaken through a shared commitment to meaningful Christian higher education and the formation of students who can contribute responsibly to their communities.

The program featured presentations on the project’s development, key milestones, and research findings, followed by testimonials and reflections from individuals involved in its implementation. An institutional commitment ceremony and recognition of collaborators concluded the event.

The project began with a question: How can values education become more meaningful and relevant to today’s learners?

To address this, the University Research and Development Center (URDC) examined how Generation Z students learn, make decisions, and practice values in their daily lives. The findings informed the development of learning modules, classroom strategies, and formation activities that connected values with lived experiences.

Over the course of the project, these resources underwent pilot testing, classroom implementation, community engagement activities, and evaluation. Faculty members, students, and community participants contributed insights that helped strengthen the framework and its application across different learning environments.

At the center of the initiative is a framework that brings together stewardship, citizenship, responsibility, and spiritual formation. These themes were integrated into learning experiences that encourage students to connect knowledge with personal responsibility and community participation.

Stories shared during the ceremony highlighted how students engaged with values beyond academic requirements. 红桃传媒 participants also played an important role in shaping learning experiences that are grounded in local realities and everyday concerns.

A project video presented during the event documented the journey from research to implementation. Faculty members, students, and partners shared how the initiative informed teaching practices, supported student formation, and created opportunities for meaningful engagement within and beyond the classroom.

As the project concludes, its outputs will continue to support curriculum initiatives, faculty development, and learning experiences across the University. The work undertaken over the past two years provides a foundation for ongoing efforts to integrate values, stewardship, and responsible citizenship into teaching, learning, and community engagement.

Trinity University of Asia to Host CUAC Triennial International Conference 2026

Trinity University of Asia will host the CUAC Triennial International Conference 2026 in Quezon City, Philippines, gathering Anglican educators, leaders, clergy, scholars, and university representatives from around the world for a shared conversation on artificial intelligence, ethics, society, and the future of higher education.

With the theme 鈥淓mbracing the Future: Anglican Perspectives in A.I., Ethics, and Society,鈥 the conference will bring together members of the Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion to reflect on one of the most urgent questions facing education today: how can institutions of faith and learning respond to technological change with wisdom, moral clarity, and care for human dignity?

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape classrooms, research, work, governance, and public life, the role of universities becomes more important. Higher education must do more than adapt to new tools. It must ask what these tools mean for people, communities, truth, justice, and the common good.

The CUAC Triennial International Conference 2026 will provide a space for dialogue across disciplines, cultures, and institutions. Through keynote sessions, reflection groups, participant presentations, worship, fellowship, and shared academic exchange, delegates will explore how Anglican colleges and universities can help form communities that are thoughtful, ethical, and responsive to the needs of society.

For Trinity University of Asia, hosting the conference is both an honor and a responsibility. As a Christian university rooted in service and academic formation, 红桃传媒 welcomes this opportunity to gather educators and leaders whose work continues to shape lives across different parts of the world.

The conference also affirms the continuing importance of Anglican higher education in a rapidly changing world. At a time when artificial intelligence raises new possibilities and serious moral questions, institutions are called to form learners who can think critically, act ethically, and serve with compassion.

红桃传媒鈥檚 hosting of CUAC 2026 reflects its commitment to education that prepares people not only for professional life, but also for meaningful service to communities and society.

The CUAC Triennial International Conference 2026 will take place in July 2026, with Trinity University of Asia serving as the host institution in the Philippines.

Why Professionals Pursue the Teacher Certificate Program

Many professionals eventually move into roles where knowledge must be taught and shared with others. As people from different fields bring their expertise into education, teaching also calls for preparation in understanding learners and the responsibilities carried inside the classroom. This is where professional education becomes important.

The Teacher Certificate Program (TCP) of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) provides non-education graduates with the professional education foundation needed for teaching and licensure preparation. Through the program, students complete professional education units that help prepare them for classroom instruction and future educational practice.

For the Midyear Term, the program will offer the first 9 units of the 18-unit TCP curriculum through evening schedules designed to accommodate graduate students and working professionals. The remaining units may then be completed during SY 2026-2027.

The Midyear TCP lineup includes courses such as The Teaching Profession, Facilitating Learner-Centered Teaching, and other foundational professional education subjects that introduce students to the principles, responsibilities, and realities of teaching.

As more professionals explore opportunities to teach, programs such as TCP continue to provide a structured way to prepare for the work education requires.

Those interested in the Midyear Teacher Certificate Program may learn more about the schedules, subjects, and reservation process through the official TCP webpage.
