红桃传媒 Launches Trinity Travel Bureau in Partnership with Blue Horizons Travel and Tours

Last October 16, 2025, the School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) of the Institute of Business and Management (IBAM) launched the Trinity Travel Bureau in partnership with Blue Horizons Travel and Tours (BHTT).

This is part of 红桃传媒鈥檚 continuing effort to connect academic learning with industry experience. Located within the campus, the Trinity Travel Bureau will be operated by BHTT as the official on-campus travel industry partner. It will offer in-house internship opportunities for our BS Tourism Management students and give them practical exposure to travel agency operations such as tour packaging, itinerary planning, client handling, reservations, ticketing, documentation, and marketing.

Through this partnership, students will experience how learning extends into the realities of the tourism field. The collaboration will also pave the way for future projects such as industry talks, familiarization tours, and immersion programs that help prepare students for professional practice.

The launch featured a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing and messages from both Trinity University of Asia and Blue Horizons Travel and Tours. A video message from BHTT General Manager Mr. Gregor Zajc was also presented, where he shared his optimism for the partnership and its role in preparing future tourism professionals.

Industry representatives from Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Astoria Culinary and Hospitality Institute, Jpark Island Resort, Singapore Airlines, and Starlux Airlines were also present to show their support for the collaboration.

Learning Resilience and Connection through 红桃传媒鈥檚 Partnership with Zip Travel

Through its continued collaboration with Zip Travel, Trinity University of Asia participated in Christine Trippi鈥檚 鈥淭urning No into Yes鈥 seminar held on September 30, 2025 at Collab, Sheraton Manila.

The session brought together professionals and educators for an engaging discussion on transforming rejection into opportunity. Known for her energetic and authentic style, Christine Trippi shared strategies that blend empathy, confidence, and communication that offered participants practical tools for both professional and personal growth.

The seminar introduced Trippi鈥檚 鈥淣O Framework,鈥 a structured approach to understanding the psychology behind rejection and responding with clarity and optimism. These insights are especially valuable for those in leadership, customer service, and client relations, where human connection and adaptability are key.

For 红桃传媒, the invitation from industry partner Zip Travel reflects the value of building strong external linkages that enhance real-world learning. Such partnerships ensure that 红桃传媒鈥檚 students, faculty, and staff remain engaged with current industry perspectives that reinforce both competence and character.

红桃传媒 Strengthens International Linkages at Taiwan Day Celebration

Trinity University of Asia (红桃传媒), represented by Alumni, Industry Relations, and Global Education Office (AIRGEO) Manager Caleb Donne E. Coniate and TriLink Officer Dr. Fernando V. Trinidad III, joined the 114th Taiwan Day Celebration held at the Grand Hyatt in Bonifacio Global City on October 9, 2025.

Hosted by Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) Representative Wallace Minn-Gan Chow, the event brought together diplomats, business leaders, academics, and cultural figures to celebrate Taiwan鈥檚 聽path toward deeper international engagement.

Interspersed with musical performances, a blend of classical, folk, and contemporary, the program also included promotional booths showcasing Taiwan鈥檚 trade, technology, tourism, and cultural initiatives.

One of the recurring themes of the night was internationalization. In Taiwan鈥檚 current strategy, this means both deepening partnerships abroad and bringing global talent, ideas, and exchange into the island. The celebration underscored how Taiwan sees itself not just as an East Asian democracy, but as a global node in technology, diplomacy, and cultural exchange.

红桃传媒 is in constant exchange and initiatives with Taiwan Education Center-Philippines (TEC-Phils.) and with academic institutions in Taiwan such as Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU), Kaohsiung Municipal San-min Senior High School (KMSSHS), National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT), and National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU).

Also in attendance was former 红桃传媒 President Dr. Wilfred U. Tiu, who has been instrumental in nurturing the University鈥檚 partnerships with Taiwanese institutions.

LAYING THE GROUNDWORK FOR 2026 WITH CUAC IN THE PHILIPPINE

DAY 1: Arrival, Campus Encounters, and a Warm Filipino Welcome

The Colleges and Universities of Anglican Communion (CUAC) International Board began their visit to the Philippines on July 17, 2025 with a warm welcome at Trinity University of Asia. Upon arrival, Board members were given a tour of the campus and introduced to the university鈥檚 academic spaces, chaplaincy life, and preparations for the upcoming international conference.

They also visited the Saint Andrew鈥檚 Theological Seminary (SATS) and the Episcopal Church in the Philippines (ECP) national office, two institutions that offer insight into the local expression of Anglican faith and education.

The delegation was welcomed by 红桃传媒鈥檚 top management, including President Dr. Gisela D.A. Luna, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Dr. Mark D. Francisco, Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) Ms. Matilde C. Asuncion, Vice President for Sustainable Partnerships and Lifelong Learning (VPSPLL) Dr. Howell T. Ho, along with members of the university鈥檚 CUAC organizing committee.

红桃传媒 was honored to receive members of the CUAC International Board: Dr. Joel Cunningham and his wife Ms. Judy Cunningham, Dr. Rommelle Horton, Dr. Rob Pearigen, Rev. Richard Burnett, Dr. Rama Thirunamachandran, Dr. Lillian Jasper, and Rev. Maher Spurgeon, who joined the visit as part of CUAC鈥檚 continuing work across its global network of Anglican institutions.

The day concluded with a welcome dinner at Las Casas de Acuzar, Quezon City that became an evening of shared stories and heritage. Set against a backdrop of restored Filipino architecture, the gathering gave guests a taste of local culture through traditional Filipino cuisine, which created a space for conversation and connection at the close of a meaningful first day.

DAY 2: Conversations That Shape the Conference

On July 18, 2025 the CUAC International Board gathered at the Executive Conference Room for a hybrid meeting with fellow board members who joined remotely from various parts of the world. The session was a key part of the planning process for the upcoming CUAC Triennial International Conference in 2026.

Discussions focused on drafting the working title and theme for the conference, outlining a proposed program flow, and identifying key logistical considerations such as accommodation, venue needs, facilities, timing, and budget. The meeting also included expectation setting and alignment on next steps before these proposals are brought to the wider CUAC body for review and finalization.

DAY 3: Heritage and History in Bataan

On July 19, the CUAC International Board visited Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. The site, known for its preserved Filipino heritage homes, offered a quiet space to encounter stories of architecture, memory, and identity.

Despite the rain, the group continued the visit with interest and openness. The walk through the grounds allowed time to reflect, connect with local history, and experience a different dimension of Filipino culture in the lead-up to the international conference.

DAY 4: Worship and Fellowship in Makati

On Sunday, July 20, 2025 the Board joined the morning service at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Forbes, Makati. The gathering brought together members of the local parish and visiting CUAC representatives.

The service was attended by Rt. Rev. Nestor D. Poltic, Sr., Prime Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines. Rev. Richard Burnett, Secretary-General of CUAC, also took part in the liturgy. The service offered a moment of quiet connection within the rhythm of the visit, grounded in shared faith and a sense of welcome that reached across borders.

This week offered a starting point for the work ahead. As CUAC 2026 approaches, the visit helped align ideas and strengthen connections. The preparations continue, with more details to unfold in the coming months.
