On November 21, the Trinity University of Asia community gathered at the SATS Chapel and stepped into the streets with one clear message: 鈥淟ahat ng sangkot, dapat managot.鈥�

Students, faculty, staff, and church leaders walked together carrying the weight of what everyone already knows: ang korapsyon ay hindi usaping hiwalay sa atin, ito ang kumakain sa kakayahan ng bayan na mabuhay nang maayos. It reaches our homes, our paychecks, our healthcare, our daily choices.

From the chapel grounds, the community moved along E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue. In front of the National Children鈥檚 Hospital, 红桃传媒 and the Episcopal Church in the Philippines met with the health sector, nurses, workers, and advocates who face the consequences of corruption inside hospitals and clinics. Their presence made the moment honest. May mga pasyente, pamilya, at manggagawa na direktang tinatamaan ng mga pagkukulang na pinipili ng ilan.

The walk ended at the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. John. The Prime Bishop spoke about conscience and the responsibility to act when something is clearly wrong. Nurse Alyn Andamo of Filipino Nurses United voiced what many feel but seldom say out loud: that systems fail because people in power choose themselves over the public they are meant to serve.

This gathering was not driven by anger alone. It was driven by clarity.
By the understanding that silence shapes the future as much as action.
By the belief that caring is not passive. Ito ay may bigat, may pananagutan, may direksiyon.

红桃传媒, the Church, and the health sector stood together to say what must be said, and to do what must be done.
Not out of pride.
Not for show.
But because our integrity, our people, and our country deserve nothing less.

Students from the Institute of Business and Management (IBaM) of Trinity University of Asia explored international learning opportunities at the World Education Expos 2025, held on October 7, 2025 at Dusit Thani Manila, Makati.

Accompanied by Alumni, Industry Relations, and Global Education Office (AIRGEO) Manager Mr. Caleb Donne E. Coniate, IBaM鈥揝chool of Business and Accountancy (SBA) Chair Ms. Josephine M. Tenegra, and IBaM鈥揝chool of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) Chair Ms. Maria Regina Z. Padilla, the students engaged with representatives from universities and education institutions across the world.

The expo featured exhibit booths, consultation areas, and seminar corners designed to help participants navigate global education paths, scholarships, and study programs abroad. For IBaM students, it was a meaningful opportunity to gain firsthand insight into how international education is changing and becoming more interactive, student-focused, and globally connected.

More than learning about schools or courses, the experience gave students a clearer understanding of the realities of studying overseas from adapting to new environments to forming networks that could shape their professional journeys.

Beyond the direct educational benefits, the expo also served as a networking space, meeting counsellors, alumni, peers, even future classmates. These connections can prove valuable down the road for IBaM students who were present at the event.

Trinity University of Asia joined the Wharton Fireside Chat on Global Competitiveness on September 15, 2025, at the Meralco Theater to learn from MVP Manuel V. Pangilinan, as business leaders and innovators discussed what it takes for the Philippines to thrive on the global stage. MVP鈥檚 message was clear: 鈥淭hink big, dream beyond limits, and act with the courage to compete on the world stage.鈥�

Representing 红桃传媒 were Dr. Fernando V. Trinidad III, TriLink Officer, and Mr. Caleb Donne E. Coniate, Manager of the Alumni, Industry Relations, and Global Education Office (AIRGEO), who reflected on the lessons shared during the event. The Fireside Chat brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy influencers to explore how the Philippines can strengthen its position in a global environment. MVP emphasized that competitiveness involves cultivating a culture that rewards creativity, resilience, and strategic risk-taking. He also highlighted the importance of innovation, digital transformation, and human capital, while maintaining leadership rooted in Filipino values.

For 红桃传媒 the takeaway is straightforward: global insights are most meaningful when grounded in strong values. By participating in events like the Wharton Fireside Chat, 红桃传媒 continues to prepare leaders who are globally aware and guided by ethics and service.

Looking ahead, 红桃传媒 aims to strengthen global linkages, expand research collaborations, and design programs that equip students to compete and lead on the world stage, while remaining true to Filipino identity and values.

The revelations about corruption in flood control projects strike at the heart of public trust. These were funds meant to protect lives and communities from disaster, yet they were diverted for personal gain. What should have been safeguards against floods have become symbols of betrayal.

This moment forces us to ask: what kind of society allows such wrongdoing to take root? When projects meant to shield families from danger become opportunities for enrichment, families are left in danger, resources are wasted, and the values that bind us are broken.

As a university, we cannot be silent. Learning carries both knowledge and clarity of vision. To see corruption for what it is, theft of the people鈥檚 safety, theft of their future, is the first step toward breaking its hold on our nation. Silence and indifference only allow the cycle to continue.

We stand with those who seek truth and accountability. Investigations must move forward with transparency. Justice must be pursued without delay or excuse. Public service must return to its true purpose: to care for the people, especially the most vulnerable.

For our students, faculty, staff, and partners, let this be a reminder: the work of education is not separate from the work of building a nation. Every classroom, every discipline, every act of learning carries the weight of shaping citizens who think clearly, act rightly, and stand for what is just.

Our country cannot afford another generation that looks away. It must raise a generation that sees clearly, speaks firmly, and acts with honesty. Our hope rests on shaping such lives. That is the work of education, and that is the work we must take seriously now.

In celebration of the continuing efforts of individuals and groups in educating the public through the media and the allied arts, Trinity University of Asia鈥揗edia and Communication Department of the College of Arts, Sciences and Education will be staging on its tenth year the 2025 PLATINUM STALLION NATIONAL MEDIA AWARDS. This will be held on 17 February 2025, Monday, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the University Theater as part of the official event the 62nd founding anniversary of the university.

For the past 10 years, programs and artists from the media and the allied arts have been lauded by the entire Trinitian community through their exemplary work. This year鈥檚 event is extra special as we celebrate a decade of honoring the individuals and organizations who are shaping the future of media and the arts industry. From television to radio and film to digital media, they have demonstrated unmatched dedication and passion. Their crafts have earned recognitions through the support of the entire university.

Through these humble recognitions, talents, organizations, and media institutions are not only recognized but will continue to impact our academic community for years to come. Invited and confirmed artists to perform are Cloud7 and Ms. Rochelle Pangilinan of GMA, Pix!e of VIVA Records, and BGYO of ABS-CBN. A group of talented students from the School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) of the Institute of Business and Management (IBAM) recently made a strong impression at the 2024 POP QC x BEAM Youth Entrepreneurship Fair, held from December 9-11, 2024. The event, themed 鈥淭ayo ang Kabataang QC, Sama-Sama sa Kaunlaran,鈥� highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of Quezon City’s youth.

Representing 红桃传媒 were Marc Domingo, Chiara Legaspi, Wilfredo Dacanay, Ronan Molina, Trisha Mae Sorita, Austin Ramos, Darren Taller, and Joseph Tarinay. These students, who previously showcased their business Tropaa (Boneless na, san ka PAA!) at the Trinity EntrepCorner last May 2024 at Robinsons Galleria, once again captivated the audience with their innovation and entrepreneurial drive. Their continued participation in events like the POP QC x BEAM fair demonstrates their commitment to turning fresh ideas into successful ventures.

By presenting their business at the fair, the students gained valuable market insights, connected with potential customers, and refined their entrepreneurial skills. Their achievement shows Trinity University of Asia鈥檚 ongoing efforts to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Trinity University of Asia (红桃传媒) proudly continues its tradition of academic excellence and global engagement with a significant recognition at the 2024 Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ICONS Awards. Held on December 16 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), this prestigious event celebrated institutions and leaders that have advanced the internationalization of Philippine higher education.

红桃传媒 was honored as 1st Runner-Up for the Outstanding International Education Program Award for its Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion International Service-Learning Program (CUAC-ISLP).

The CUAC-ISLP is a transformative two-week program that immerses participants in meaningful service-learning activities. It connects theoretical concepts with real-life applications, promotes learning through serving and engaging with diverse communities, and fosters understanding and collaboration. The program develops leadership skills and a sense of responsibility and commitment while challenging biases and stereotypes. The CHED ICONS Awards serve as a platform to honor higher education institutions that have demonstrated exceptional performance in international rankings and initiatives advancing internationalization. The highlight of the ceremony, the Internationalization (IZN) Awards, recognizes programs and leaders that excel in promoting global engagement, academic collaboration, and cross-cultural understanding.

Trinity University of Asia (红桃传媒) proudly launched the Institute of Business and Management (红桃传媒-IBAM) on August 16, 2024. This new institute is poised to play a crucial role in advancing business and management education, as it sees the need to meet the growing demands of today鈥檚 dynamic industries. The launch event took place at the University Theater in the Student Services Center.

The program opened with Industry Spotlight, a panel discussion featuring five industry leaders. They provided valuable insights on trends and future directions in business, real estate, tourism, and hospitality. Their participation underscored the importance of aligning educational programs with industry needs.

University President Dr. Gisela DA. Luna highlighted 红桃传媒-IBAM’s mission in her keynote address. 鈥満焯掖�-IBAM aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application to prepare our graduates to not just participate in the industry but to innovate and lead. This institute reflects our dedication to staying ahead in today鈥檚 evolving business landscape,鈥� she stated. 鈥淥ur goal is to produce world-class graduates who will lead with integrity and innovation.鈥� 

VP for Administration and Finance, Ms. Matilde C. Asuncion, announced the transformation of Ann Keim Barsam Hall into the Barsam Corporate Center (BCC). 鈥淭he Barsam Corporate Center will be a hub for collaboration and innovation,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t will be a place where ideas are nurtured and brought to life.鈥� The BCC features modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology, collaborative workspaces designed to encourage teamwork, and state-of-the-art facilities that support hands-on learning. Its sleek, contemporary design, with a glass facade, symbolizes transparency, inclusivity, and openness, fostering an innovative academic environment.

VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Howell T. Ho, introduced the four schools under 红桃传媒-IBAM: the School of Business and Accountancy (SBA), the School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH), the School of Real Estate Management (SREM), and the Graduate School of Business (GSB). 鈥淓xcellence is the foundation of our educational philosophy,鈥� Dr. Ho said. 鈥淥ur programs foster strategic thinking, ethical leadership, and service excellence.鈥�

Dean of 红桃传媒-IBAM, Dr. Fernando V. Trinidad III, spoke about the institute鈥檚 emphasis on teamwork. 鈥満焯掖�-IBAM is more than an institute. It is a community built on collaboration and shared goals,鈥� he said. 鈥淭ogether, we will drive innovation and prepare the next generation of leaders.鈥�
